Table for One

Table for One, my capstone project,  celebrates the joy of eating and cooking in solitude. The name was inspired by the awkwardness you feel when you go to a restaurant alone and the staff asks, "How many people?" snd you respond, "Just for one." The goal was to make people feel comfortable and confident about those situations,  starting from your own kitchen.

The project aimed to covert easily accessible or processed food items like mac and cheese and instant ramen noodles as the fundamental ingredients and transformed them into dishes that are more elevated. Those food items are standard last-minute dinner options, but people cooking alone deserve to treat themselves to something better than a rushed meal.
