This project is for the Home Office team from Uncommon Schools* where they hold an annual retreat. This year, the goal is to create streamlined branding that foster a shared cultural experience among team members, motivating to feel inspired, joyful, and connected. 

The design direction for the project is to further develop the shape of the "U" that derives from the word "Uncommon". Two "U"s have merged to represent the idea of "Collaboration, Connection, and Community". People are what make the experience of the retreat meaningful, and to signify that, the patterns are introduced to enhance the connection we share with each other. These patterns can be interpreted as fingerprint, tree bark, and cells, representing the uniqueness of the individual organism, which all of us are and should be celebrated.
